It's wonderful this p/c world we live in or I would have never known your story. Thank you so much for sharing this experience because this is just what I was looking for. My puppy too has 2 broken bones, she is 14 weeks, getting her cast wet with urine and trying to run around. Yesterday the vet removed the 3rd set of bandages/cast and said she can no longer wrap it...it's too raw...she needs to be crated with her splint off. And of course my reaction was the same as yours for my puppy is a Jack Russell and extremely curious and rambunctious. I am in bed watching and old movie, Markee's crate on my bed with her sleeping peacefully...for now! I've got my laptop out and set my search engine for 'how to care for a puppy with a broken leg' and voila! some help out there! I am about a week and a half into this, her accident was Dec.22,2011....she ran into the street and was hit by a truck in front of our house. After reading your account and suggestions I think we will make it. Thank you so much, Jeannie

My six month old cockapoo puppy was hit by a car today. She has a dislocated pelvis and a broken back leg. In the morning, the vet is going to call me to tell me whether her bladder is functional. If it is not, he suggests that we euthanize her. I am so overcome with emotion that I can barely function. She is as dear as a human infant to me. I am sending this message to cyberspace because I don't know how else to cope with my distress tonight. If anyone reads this, please pray for my puppy. Her name is Darla.
Thanks,
Roxy

The details of the hardware is less important than learning about how light and lenses work and how to see an image. The key thing is to have a camera that allows you to easilycontrol the aperture and exposure. Secondarily it is nice to have a selection of lenses to control focal length. I’m still having fun learning how to make better pictures.
